We began with a wine tasting to start the last day off on a happy note. Panama City Beach Winery is one of the best fruit wineries out there, with medals and a lack of any viable market to prove it. The wine was actually great, and included blackberry, blueberry, melon, peach, honey, chocolate, orange, and a ton of other fruits.
We drove back through the woods of Panama City Beach, passing the occasional warning of bears crossing (??!). To top the state off, we drove by an upside-down building. We were pretty WTF'd too.
Finally, we stopped in Louisiana for gas. LA never disappoints. Our gas station had a casino inside the convenience store, with an entrance right by the 24-packs of Coke. There was a small stream of cigarette smoke coming out of the casino, just enough to make the whole place smell like a 'smoking' room at the Ramada Inn.
